Parrot Keeper Workshop 2026
We are collaborating with Shaping Behaviour to offer a full day of learning on all things parrot on Thursday 24th September. Topics will include:
- Cooperative Care Training
- Functional Enrichment
- Observable Behaviour
- Nutrition and Dietary Diversity
The workshop will be held at the World Parrot Trust's Kiwa Centre in Newbury, Berkshire.
Tickets are £115 and include:
- A donation to The Kiwa Centre
- Lunch and refreshments
- A tour of The Kiwa Centre
- A whole day of learning from Certified Professional Bird Trainers (CPBT-КА) Nicky Plaskitt, Sophie Barnett & David Trebus.
This workshop is suitable for both private owners, and keepers in zoological facilities.
