Combine with your parrot’s usual food to create a diverse and varied diet. Chop into small pieces for training treats. These nuts can also be soaked in cool water overnight, drained and rinsed in the morning, then served to your bird which makes them tastier and more digestible. Adjust accordingly based on the other components in your bird’s diet and their activity levels. Weigh your bird regularly to ensure they are maintaining a healthy weight. Always offer alongside fresh, clean water, and replenish food with a fresh portion daily.
